- thousands of Americans would begin a journey west looking for land
- opportunity
- and better futures for themselves and their families. The journey west towards the “Oregon Territory” would be long and difficult
- with many of these pioneers having to face challenges such as lack of food
- clean drinking water
- and disease. Our story follows the point of view of a guitar player who went on the journey himself and is now reminiscing about his journey to us through the narration.
