FUNDRAISING EVENTS

Our Largest Needs are volunteers to partner with us at our fundraising events. There are many aspects of these events that require volunteers to make them successful. There is always something that you can do! These events help fund all the music programs and your child does not need to be part of a specific event for you to partner. You don’t even need a student at AGHS to help out! People of all ages can assist.

*CHAPERONES

One of the most rewarding things to do is to chaperone the students. To see the students interactions as they grow into adulthood, helping guide their choices they learn from your presence. You also help the teachers and instructors out by allowing them to focus on the need of the event. Throughout the year there are many opportunities that include: Football games, Field Trips, Marching Band Competitions, Indoor Color Guard and Percussion Competitions, Bus Chaperones, Parades

EQUIPMENT & PROPS

There can never be too many hands to help out here. Help out by moving props to where they need to go on and off the competition field or floor.

UNIFORM & COSTUMES

Keep the members looking professional and ready to perform. If you have a knack for sewing, this is a perfect opportunity to bring that joy to help the students. Some duties include: Preparing Uniforms before and after the season. Hemming and sizing. minor repairs

CONCERT RECEPTIONS

Celabrate the students who work hard to prepare for their winter and spring concerts by helping with reception events

SPIRIT WEAR

Take our marketing and fundraising to a new level by assisting with Spirit Wear (July - December)

BAND CAMP

Keep the students hydrated and help create and run fun games that engage the marching members during band camp that occurs each August as they prepare their show. Band camp is a crucial time where a majority of the show is created.. Come help them make great memories together

HYDRATION & SNACKS

Students and staff will be fully engaged with the job that is in front of them to perform at thier events. Volunteers to assist with the health of the students by providing Snacks and Fluids is crucial to their success.

PHOTOGRAPHER

Memorialize the moment by taking action shots and single/group photos that can be shared on the website and social media, provided for reception event slide shows and sold as fundraisers
